What Child Is This?
What child is this?
They spoke of him long ago,
his life, his purpose, his death all foretold.
The wise men journeyed to worship him,
even still, to this day, he cannot be ignored.
What child is this?
A babe lying in a manger,
a carpenter’s son, a prophet, a teacher?
Many followed him throughout his life,
yet many rejected him too.
What child is this?
Do you not know; oh can’t you see?
My God, my Savior, that’s who He is to me!
