Only God Knows
Only God knows what my future holds for me;
where I am going and who it is I shall be.
It is all overwhelming, I shudder at the thought;
when changes arise, with their lessons to be taught.
Only God knows how things will fall into place.
I do wonder though, how well I’ll finish the race.
I shall put forth the effort, I shall do all I can do;
but I can’t do it on my own Lord, so I’ll put all my trust in you.

Life changes can be very scary; they can threaten to undo us. But I take comfort in the fact that only God knows the outcome, and when we place ourselves under His care…change is always good.

Yes, Lew, but more importantly, it is who we have faith in that makes all the difference in the world. My faith is on God, the author of my salvation…and He is writing a beautiful story of faith on my life.
